SEGART

- DESCRIPTION
A small mountain town located in the heart of the Sierra Calderona, it is 267 metres above sea level, despite being very close to the beach. The relief is somewhat uneven as it extends over the left side of the mountain range, on the slope that goes down to the Palancia River. The hills of La Mola and Prat stand out. Among the ravines are those of La Font, Meliquet and Segart.
Among its monuments, the Castle of Segart stands out. Today, some of the remains can be seen that indicate that it was part of a larger structure and that of course it was a completely defensive construction. Also noteworthy are the church of La Purísima (18th century), the hermitage of La Santa Creu and the Town Hall.
Its beautiful landscapes make Segart a perfect place to enjoy hiking.
