ACUEDUCTO DE ALFARA

- DESCRIPTION
Popularly known as "Los Arcos", it is located in the Arguinas ravine. It dates back to the mid-19th century. It replaced an older aqueduct, possibly Roman, whose pillars are located about 50 metres from the current one. It is used exclusively for irrigation due to the destruction of the old aqueduct; this was built with the contributions of the irrigators of the area. It belongs to the Acequia Mayor de Sagunto.
The site is an area where the visitor, with the murmur of the water, takes a break to continue with the Water Route.
Easily accessible by car, it has facilities for eating at wooden tables in the shade.
